2 Kgs 6:1-7
The miracle of the axe head. A lost object is recovered in a miraculous way, showing that God also cares about the practical needs of everyday life.
2 Kgs 6:8-12
The revelation of the enemy’s plans. God reveals the enemy’s strategies to Elisha, protecting Israel from attacks and demonstrating His constant care.
2 Kgs 6:13-17
The spiritual vision. Elisha’s servant sees the enemy army, but he also comes to see God’s protection surrounding them, gaining a new perspective.
2 Kgs 6:18-20
The supernatural intervention. The enemy army is temporarily struck with blindness and led into Samaria without realizing what is happening.
2 Kgs 6:21-23
The response of mercy. Instead of destroying their enemies, Elisha instructs that food be provided for them and that they be set free, bringing the attacks to an end.
