1 Kgs 19:1-4
Elijah’s flight. After Jezebel’s threat, Elijah flees in fear, revealing emotional exhaustion even after a great spiritual victory.
1 Kgs 19:5-8
God’s care. God provides food and rest for Elijah, showing that restoration begins with basic needs being met.
1 Kgs 19:9-14
The encounter on the mountain. Elijah expresses his frustration, and God reveals Himself not in the dramatic display, but in a gentle whisper, bringing a new perspective.
1 Kgs 19:15-18
A new direction. God gives instructions and shows that there is still a faithful remnant, restoring Elijah’s sense of purpose.
1 Kgs 19:19-21
The continuation of the mission. Elijah calls Elisha, beginning a process of succession and continuity in the ministry.
