Josh 3:1-4

Josh 3:6-8

The instruction to the priests. God commands them to carry the Ark to the river, promising to act when their feet touch the water.

The declaration of faith. Joshua tells the people that God would open the way, confirming His presence among them.

Josh 3:14-17

The miraculous crossing. As soon as the priests step into the river, the waters are cut off, allowing all the people to cross on dry ground.
