Reflection
Numbers 23 and 24 show that God’s will prevails regardless of human intentions. No opposing plan can cancel what He has determined.
Balaam reveals that it is possible to be involved in spiritual matters and still have a divided heart. Obedience must go beyond words.
As presented in Patriarchs and Prophets, chapter 40, God turns even attempts of curse into blessing when His people are under His direction.
This passage teaches that what God blesses remains firm. It does not depend on circumstances or opposition, but on God’s sovereign decision.
