Reflection

Exodus 18 shows that even leaders chosen by God need guidance and support. Wisdom can also come through other people.

Moses’ overload reveals an important principle: trying to do everything alone can compromise the mission. God values organization and cooperation.

As presented in Patriarchs and Prophets, chapter 26, the proposed structure was not only practical, but necessary for the healthy growth of the people.

This passage teaches that effective leadership involves humility to listen, willingness to change, and wisdom to share responsibilities.
