Reflection
Exodus 13 and 14 show that God’s guidance does not always follow the easiest path, but the most necessary one. He leads with not only the destination in mind, but the process as well.
In the face of danger, the people’s fear reveals how easy it is to forget what God has already done. Faith can waver when circumstances seem greater than the promise.
This passage teaches that God not only guides, but also intervenes at the right moment. What seems impossible becomes a pathway when He acts.
