Reflection

Genesis 18 shows that God is just, but also open to dialogue with human beings.

In Patriarchs and Prophets, chapter 12, Abraham demonstrates concern not only for himself, but for others, taking on the role of an intercessor. The dialogue shows that God considers the righteous and does not act arbitrarily. His justice is balanced with mercy, and He allows human beings to participate in this process through intercession.

This passage teaches us that we can approach God with respect and confidence, bringing not only our own needs, but also interceding for others.
