Reflection

Genesis 9 shows that God not only provides a new beginning, but also establishes principles for the continuation of life.

The covenant presented in this chapter reveals a God who commits Himself to His creation. As highlighted in Patriarchs and Prophets, chapter 8, the rainbow is not merely a natural phenomenon, but a visible symbol of divine faithfulness. Even knowing human limitations, God chooses to uphold His promise and preserve life on earth. This shows that the relationship between God and humanity continues to be based on grace, but also involves responsibility.

This passage reminds us that God is faithful to His promises and that, even after difficult moments, He establishes paths of hope and continuity.
